Zaandijk Rugby is the new Rugby Union rugbyclub in Zaanstad since 2013.

Zaandijk Rugby welcomes enquiries from anyone interested in starting to play rugby, as well as from existing players of all standards and levels of experience who would like to join us. We have a thriving youth rugby section that covers Under 6s to Under 18s.

Training sessions

Youth U6 - U16: 

U6 & U8: Wednesday 18.00 - 19.00 and Friday 18.00 - 19.30

U10, U12 & U14: Wednesday and Friday 18.00 - 19.30

U16: Wednesday and Friday 18.30 - 20.00

Colts U18 and seniors: Wednesday and Friday 20.00 - 21.30

Ladies: Friday 19.00 - 20.30

You're always welcome to come to one of the training sessions and give our sport a try! Everyone is welcome to come try out rugby a few times for free. Just take some rugby or football boots (no metal studs allowed U6-U12), a sturdy shirt and a mouth guard (for sale in the clubhouse) and you're ready to start training!

 

Matches

Once you've joined our club and the trainers and you feel you're ready to start playing matches, you can officially join one of the teams!

Youth teams play their matches on Saturday. The GTBM-teams (U6, U8, U10 & U12) play every Saturday in little tournaments where the'll play 2-4 matches. From U14 and up the children start playing competition on Saturday.

Our senior team plays their matches on Sunday.
